“Fishing Capital of the World” is proudly proclaimed as you enter Montauk Harbor. Montauk is the largest commercial harbor in New York State and home port for some of the greatest sport fishing on the East Coast. Fish offshore for tuna, marlin, and mahi mahi, or stay inshore for flounder, fluke, porgies, bluefish, striped bass, and blackfish, all found off Montauk’s shores.
