
The Rakiem Walker Project (RWP) is a collective of musicians including GLR¥A, a vocalist with a signature Harlem sound. This gifted crew deliver high energy, electrifying performances and have been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian and Bon Appetit. The founder, Rakiem Walker, is an accomplished saxophonist, arranger, and producer. He was the music director for Teddy Riley, Camron, Eric Benet, Melba Moore, Freddie Jackson, CL Smooth, and Timbuktu (Sweden’s major artist). Rakiem also worked with and played saxophone for Roy Ayers, Gil Scott Heron, The RZA, SWV, Keith Sweat, Dipset, and the Lehman College graduate big band. He is a voting member of the Recording Academy, and the owner of Walker Entertainment Group (WEG), distributed by SONY.
